Licence & Teacher Use
Last updated: October 16, 2026
The books are © Alvin Lim (kfluent). Buying a book gives you a licence to use it, as described here. Every purchase includes the teacher licence; there is nothing extra to buy.
Your personal licence
- The licence is for you, the buyer, alone. It cannot be transferred or resold.
- You may read the PDF on all your own devices and keep backup copies.
- You may print it, in whole or in part, for your own study.
Teacher licence (included)
If you teach Korean (at a school, an academy, as a tutor or online), you may print pages and hand them out to the students in classes you personally teach. You may also show pages on screen during your own live lessons.
Not allowed
- Sharing the PDF file with anyone, including your students: no email, messenger, cloud links, or uploads to a class platform or shared drive.
- Uploading the file or its pages to any website or public place.
- Reselling the book, or republishing its content as your own material.
- Removing or hiding the watermark.
- Distribution across an institution, for example copies for other teachers or a school-wide library or server.
Schools and institutions
If your school or academy wants to use the books across several teachers or classes, please write to alvin@kfluent.com for an institutional licence.
No DRM, a watermark instead
The books have no copy protection, so you can use them on any device and print freely within this licence. Each copy carries your email address and a licence number on the licence page, in small text in the top and bottom margins and in the file's metadata. This identifies the licensed copy if a file is ever shared.
When the licence ends
The licence ends if the purchase is refunded or if these conditions are broken. See also our Terms of Service and Refund policy.
