Refund Policy

Not downloaded yet? Full refund within 14 days of purchase. No questions asked.
Already downloaded? No refund, because a downloaded file cannot be returned. But a broken file, a wrong edition or a duplicate charge is always fixed, at any time.
Before your first download
Until you download a book for the first time, you can cancel the purchase within 14 days and get all your money back. You do not need to give a reason. This is at least as long as the withdrawal period under EU and UK law (14 days) and Taiwanese and Korean law (7 days).
Your first download
A PDF is delivered the moment you download it. So before your first download from "My books", we ask you to tick this box:
I agree that delivery starts immediately when I download, and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal and refund.
Without the tick, the download does not start and your 14-day refund stays open. When you tick it and download, we email you a confirmation of your consent. From then on the right of withdrawal and the no-questions refund end for that purchase.
After your first download
We do not refund downloaded books, with these exceptions that always apply, however long ago you bought:
- Defective file: the PDF will not open, is corrupted or has missing pages.
- Wrong edition: you received a different level or language from the one you paid for.
- Duplicate charge: you were charged twice for the same book.
In these cases we send you a corrected file or refund you in full, whichever you prefer (a duplicate charge is simply refunded). Beyond this, we may give a goodwill refund at our discretion.
Bundles
A bundle (for example a full set) is refunded only as a whole, not book by book. Downloading any book in a bundle counts as the first download for the whole bundle.
What a refund means
When a purchase is refunded, the book or books are removed from "My books" and the licence ends. Please delete any copies you downloaded. The money goes back to your original payment method through Polar; how long it takes to show depends on your bank or card.

Email alvin@kfluent.com from the address you used at checkout, or use the link in your Polar receipt (Polar customer portal). Include your order number if you have it. We answer within 3 business days.
Your legal rights
