About kfluent
kfluent teaches the Korean that people actually speak — practical vocabulary, real expressions, and the everyday know-how you need to study, work, or live in Korea.
The site is written by Alvin Lim, a Certified Korean Language Teacher (Level 2, 한국어교원 2급) — a national teaching certification issued under Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Every guide is written from Seoul, with the vocabulary Koreans really use, not textbook-only phrases.
Alvin speaks Korean (native), English, and Mandarin Chinese, and has taught and guided learners from around the world. That trilingual background is why kfluent publishes in both English and Traditional Chinese — with content localized for learners from Taiwan and Hong Kong, not machine-translated.
